About the founder -
Nick begun his journey in woodworking 11 years ago from a desire to express his creativity in his own way, predominantly using old fence palings and railway sleepers for his initial concepts.
Over the years progressing as a craftsman in his shed with more and more orders coming in, he made the transition from his trade of plastering into building bespoke, custom handmade timber hardwood furniture, aligning his personal passions and values all in one, with consistent new orders coming in each week.
‘My aim is for my work to be fully sustainable, using only recycled timber from around Australia.’
A keen surfer who always has time to both make others smile, Nick is often spotted along the beachside with his two Australian Cattle Dogs.
As Rustic Art continues to expand, Nick is passionate about sticking true to the values which were the foundation of his growth, with a uniquely youthful enthusiasm to advocate for recycling and sustainability.
